MESSAGES

I Know You Can Do Anything (Job 42:2 and 5)

How many times do we find in the Bible men who had attitudes that seem to be extremely difficult for us to repeat in our lives.

Some examples are:

• The test of Abraham with his son Isaac on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22).
• Daniel in the lions' den (Daniel 6).
• Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:19-30).
• Joseph and Potiphar's wife (Genesis 39).

Proving to God our faith and our perseverance in the difficult situations of our lives is essential for us to be blessed.

In the four examples above we saw Abraham, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and Joseph honoring God with their obedience and faith.

When we honor God we are also honored by Him and His miracles and providences are manifested in our lives.

1 Samuel 2:30 Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever. But now the Lord declares: Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

Another great example from the Bible is the story of Job, who despite all his suffering remained faithful to the Lord and left us wonderful teachings and words about his experience with God.

Job, in the last chapter (42) of the book with his name, can recognize in an extraordinary way the power of God and his authority, to the point that he no longer cares about the situation of destruction that surrounded him, declaring that in his anguish he approached more of God and had experiences with Him never before lived.

Job 42:5 My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.

Maybe your fight isn't as big as Job's fight, but that's not why you can't have the same attitudes that Job had.

DECLARE: Lord God, I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted (Job 42:2).

TURN YOUR STRUGGLE INTO YOUR VICTORY and see the glory of God manifesting in you, to the point where you can say: NOW MY EYES HAVE SEEN YOU.

God never changes, so He is the same and if your attitude is the same as Job, the Lord will respond in the same way, restoring in double all that was lost.

Job 42:10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.

The Lord bless you and keep you
