Fulfill Your Vow! (Ecclesiastes 5:4)

Another year will soon begin and for most people, at the end of the year, a new motivation and an almost unconscious hope of better days and achievements that will become reality in the next year to come.

For many people there is the feeling that with the year that ends a cycle in life also ends and with the year that begins a new cycle in life also begins.

Changes in attitudes, in words, in the way of acting, in the way of working are planned, always thinking about conquering what was not accomplished or about conquering new things.

These feelings are very interesting and would be very positive if they WOULDN'T EXTINGUISH in the first few days of the year.

Commonly at this time of year we see people:

• Committing with GOD to have a life more dedicated to Him.
• Committing yourself to GOD to having a faithful life to Him.
• Committing yourself to GOD to stop sinning.
• Committing to GOD to stop practicing attitudes that sadden Him.
• Committing to GOD to being faithful tithe payers.
• Committing to GOD to pray more.
• Committing to GOD to read the Bible more.
• Committing to GOD to be more in the church.

And several other promises that will also be quickly forgotten and will not be fulfilled in the coming year, not to mention that they will never be fulfilled.

God always reveals, through his Spirit, where or what we should change and every time we don't heed him, we are being unfaithful and we are despising his will for our lives and consequently despising God Himself.

He who does not listen to God's voice ends up on his own in this world, at the disposal of the one who came only to steal, kill and destroy.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

But he who listens to the voice of the Lord will be blessed.

Jeremiah 17:8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

I believe that your projects in relation to God are inspired by the Holy Spirit, so don't let them be forgotten, but strive to achieve or fulfill them, as God's will for you must be treated AS AN ORDER and God's commands must be carried out and not neglected.

Fulfill your vows to God and obey him, because these attitudes will be the motivators and generators of your blessings in the coming year.

Have a new year blessed by God and NEVER FORGET:

Deuteronomy 23:21 If you make a vow to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin.

Ecclesiastes 5:4 When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.

Jeremiah 17:7 But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

The Lord bless you and keep you
