God's Faithfulness (2 Corinthians 1:18)

GOD IS FAITHFUL, this expression appears several times in the Bible and exposes one of the attributes of the character of God.

You may have used this phrase several times in your life to motivate your faith or exhort the faith of others.

BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL TO WHAT OR TO WHOM?

The answer to the question is very simple and at the same time it should serve as a guide for your life, not only to motivate or exhort you, but also to GUIDE you.

The answer is:

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD and as EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO GOD'S WORD, we are all reached by his faithfulness, both in blessings, for those who obey his word, and in curses, for those who disobey his word.

Therefore, we must KNOW THE WORD OF GOD in its essence and depth, to extract from it all the blessings promised by God, not letting us be deceived by Satan's lies, which corrupt the word of God, from the beginning, influencing people to sin and disobey the word of God.

And this corruption of the word of God that Satan practices only succeeds because people, simply, do not know the word of God and not even God himself.

Matthew 22:29 Jesus replied, You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

The word of God is the power of God with man, for no one can resist this word and it will always succeed when ministered.

Isaiah 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Matthew 5:18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

If we obey and use God's word, then we will be unattainable by our enemy and we will be blessed, that is God's promise.

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers.

Therefore, wish to KNOW AND LIVE THE WORD OF GOD, REJOICE IN IT, because they are words of life and power for all of us.

Psalm 119:113 I hate double-minded people, but I love your law.
Psalm 119:163 I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law.

The word of God is so important to us that GOD CURSED anyone who altered or corrupted it.

Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

READ AND LIVE THE BIBLE, because GOD IS FAITHFUL!

The Lord bless you and keep you.
