I believe that most people know the consequences that sin generates, which are: OPPRESSION, CURSE, SUFFERING, EXTREME DIFFICULTIES, SEPARATION FROM GOD, DEATH.
Genesis 3:16-19 To the woman he said, I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you. And to Adam he said, because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, you shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.
Genesis 3:23 therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
Because of sin, man rejected being the image and likeness of God, he rejected being a SPIRITUAL creature and became a CARNAL creature, with sinful tendencies and when that happened, man lost the essence of God's creation, which is immortality , and lost God himself, simply because man rejected him.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness.
John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
Because of this rejection of God, man became a slave to sin and began to live according to the prince of this century, who is Satan, and was condemned to suffering and eternal death. The wages of sin is death, so those who sin are condemned to death.
1 John 3:8a Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But God's plans can never be thwarted or prevented, as the Bible says: Job 42:2 I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
That is why Jesus died on the cross, so that we could have the death sentence revoked by God, and in his sacrifice, the curse could be lifted and so that God's plans for man could be fully fulfilled and man could be reconnected to God.
Jesus came into the world so that we would have life in abundance and so that all the cursed yoke of Satan could be eliminated from our lives.
1 John 3:8 The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
When God expelled Adam and Eve from his presence in the Garden of Eden, he prophesied Jesus' coming as a man, promising that He would step on the serpent's head.
Genesis 3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.
The debt of man's sin (death) was paid by Jesus:
Colossians 2:13-15 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.
Whenever a man sins, he despises Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, and whoever does so, despises his redemptive work and eternal life and God Himself.
WITHOUT JESUS MAN IS A SLAVE OF SIN AND THE DEVIL, WITHOUT JESUS MAN IS CONSIDERED CURSED BY GOD, AND IS CONDEMNED TO ETERNAL DEATH.
John 8:31-36 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. They answered him, we are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, you will become free? Jesus answered them, truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
NEVER FORGET THAT!
The Lord Bless you and keep you.
