Train up a Child in the Way He Should Go (Proverbs 22:6)

The Bible says that the Word of God is infallible:

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

The Bible also says that the Word of God, when goes out from His mouth, it will not return to Him empty, without accomplishing its purpose.

Isaiah 55:11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

One of the most important teachings in the Bible is the need to teach our children the doctrines and precepts of God, not just as a story, but as something alive and effective and that must be observed and followed throughout their lives.

Deuteronomy 6:6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

Diligently teach children means: To repeat with insistence, to teach with persistence, to teach diligently the Word of God and the Values of God.

But the teaching of “VALUES” to a child will only be effective, if the “VALUES” that are being taught, are practiced by those who teach, that is, there is no point in teaching your child not to speak bad words, if you speak; there is no point in teaching your child to be honest, if you are not.

A blessed family is the result of a family that is faithful to God, where a home exists: Prayer, Biblical meditation, prudence, sanctification and the fruits of the Spirit.

If God's values are not part of a particular home, the children of that home are being taught incorrectly, because the values being taught to them are the values of the world and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Then, when the child grows up, without the values of God as the foundation for his life, he will be easily influenced by the values of the world, which today are terrible, such as: corruption, prostitution, addictions, oppression, the love of money .

If you don't take care to pass on God's teachings to your child, the devil will certainly take care to teach his values.

Be aware that one day, you will not find yourself saying that terrible and sad question: "WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?" .

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
