MESSAGES

Appearance vs. Heart (1 Samuel 16: 7)

How many times a man makes mistakes by being carried away by his feelings and what he sees.

As the popular saying goes: “All that glitters is not gold” .

God has always shown his people that He is a fair judge and that He tests hearts and minds.

Jeremiah 11:20 But, O LORD of hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind...

Psalms 7:9 Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end, and may you establish the righteous - you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God!

God knows everything and there is nothing that can be hidden from him, because He is omnipresent and omniscient.

Psalms 139:4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.

There is no sin or thought that God does not know.

Psalms 69:5 O God, you know my folly; the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you.

Matthew 10:26 So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

And that is why God knows the truth in your heart and knows your integrity, your sincerity, your fidelity, your love.

God is not deceived and does not allow himself to be carried away by appearances or by words or rituals, because God knows the depths of man.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.

And you must also proceed in the same way, that is, try to get to know people not for what they appear to be or say they are, but for their fruits, because through the fruits you know who the person really is.

Matthew 12:33  Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit.

Many say that they love God, that they are faithful to God and that they are filled with the Holy Spirit, but they continue to sin systematically, and their attitudes do not show what they appear to be: They do not pray, they do not know the Word of God, they let themselves be involved easily by the tribulations, they live disturbed and they are not firm in the church.

THIS IS WRONG.

If you live in a spiritual appearance, understand that God knows the truth and He watches over His Word and He will not show partiality to any man.

God requires of us we must love Him above all else, we must worship Him, we must obey Him and we must be faithful to Him.

Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

WATCH, BECAUSE:

Matthew 7:13  Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
