1 John 5:5 ​Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

God's Word is clear when it says that our victory is in Jesus Christ, the son of God.

The son of God has the highest authority over everything, so if you believe in the son of God, you also believe in his authority and his power.

Matthew 28:18 ​And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.

We know that we live in this world on a journey and that on that journey we have to prove our faith and our perseverance in Jesus Christ, so that we achieve victory for our struggles, as well as salvation on the last day.

1 John 5:4 ​For whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

The apostle John in 1 John 5:4, says:

• OUR VICTORY IS CONDITIONED IN BORN OF GOD (For whatever is born of God ...)

Being born in God means receiving Jesus as your lord and savior, for Jesus' sacrifice is valid only for those who receive it:

John 1:12 ​But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in his name.

1 John 5:1 ​Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him.

• WE HAVE TO WIN THE WORLD (... overcomes the world ...)

It is not possible to live in sanctification and in obedience to God and to follow the precepts and values ​​of the world, because according to the Word of God "THE WHOLE WORLD LIES IN THE POWER OF THE EVIL ONE".

1 John 5:19 ​And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

• IT IS FAITH THAT WINS THE WORLD (... and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith)

Having faith means believing in what is expected and in what is not yet seen.

Hebrews 11:1 ​Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

WHO LOVES GOD OBEYS THE WORD OF GOD, and this is the clearest and most natural way to identify if you really love God, because as the Bible says in several verses: If you love God, you keep his commandments.

1 John 5:2 ​By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

The very son of God, Jesus, said: John 14:15 ​If you love me, keep my commandments.

Do not be deceived by the illusions of this world, either in its wisdom or in its strength, for our victory will ALWAYS depend on of Jesus, for He is the only one who can guarantee us the blessing and the lasting peace of the blessing.

1 John 5:14 ​And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: 15 ​And if we know that he hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Never forget that the devil walks around us, roaring like a lion, seeking for whom he may devour and remove from the presence of God.

1 Peter 5:8 ​Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.

How many times have we seen, deceit and lying, taking care of people who have had great experiences with God and today are unhappy, lost and sunk in their sin, confirming what the Word of God says: THE LATTER END IS WORSE WITH THEM THAN THE BEGINNING.

2 Peter 2:20 ​For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 ​For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 ​But it is happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Therefore, NEVER let deception and lies take over your life, so that YOU WILL BE MUCH BETTER TOMORROW THAN TODAY.
