Many times in our lives only the powerful providences of God can help us.
Sometimes, because our need will be something impossible for us to accomplish, other times, because all our wisdom and strength will not be enough to solve a certain situation.
So, as there are no more alternatives, our duty is to cry out to God.
However, seeking God should be a daily exercise for every Christian, not only in moments of anguish or struggle, but rather, for the simple joy of being able to talk to God and receive from Him what we often did not even imagine we could. to receive.
God said that if we would seek Him, He would reveal to us great and hidden things that we don't yet know.
Jeremiah 33:Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.
In another text, God says:
Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
Therefore, we understand that God's will is to participate in every moment of our lives, delivering us from evil and revealing to us the deep things of it.
But:
• How will we receive from God if we don't ask? Matthew 7:8 For every one that asks receives...
• How will we find him if we do not seek him? Matthew 7:8 ... and he that seeks finds...
• How will we be saved if we don't give our lives to Jesus? Matthew 7:8 ... and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
I will repeat: Praying to God should be a natural habit of every Christian and should be practiced with joy and not as a burden or as an obligation.
Christians today pray little, therefore they are experiencing little power of God in their lives.
The lack of prayer generates spiritual coldness and lack of communion with God, as it is a clear disobedience to God's order to pray without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
The only way to seek God and not be blessed is when there is sin or when there is unfaithfulness to God.
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Therefore, until there is repentance and the request for forgiveness, God will turn his face away and will not hear the prayers and many times the blessing will only come, by the mercy of God, exercised through the intercession of a righteous man, for as God is holy and watches over by his Word, he cannot bless a sinner.
James 5:16 ... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
So, take advantage of the fact that the Lord's hand is not shortened to give and ask Him for his blessing, because the Lord's ears are not deaf so that He cannot hear you.
Just believe and seek!
The Lord bless you and keep you.
