CHOOSE LIFE, this is the choice in the Bible that God wants us all to make.

Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

The Bible says that our God is Almighty (El Shaday), that He has all authority in heaven and on earth, that His purpose cannot be thwarted and when He act, who can reserve it?

Genesis 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Job 42:2 I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.

Isaiah 43:13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?

But despite the immeasurable power that God has, there is something that God does not exercise His power to force or make happen, which is our decision to love Him, serve Him, and obey and follow His Word.

God's desire has always been that true feelings for Him be in man's heart: Love, respect, obedience, honor, among others, feelings that a son has for his father.

We cannot forget that it was God who created us, that He loves us and treats us like a father, even calling us children.

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

As a father wants the best for his child, so is God for us and it is with this intention that God warns us about the need to be obedient and faithful to Him.

Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, 18 I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. 19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

God made a point of being extremely emphatic in verse 19: This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses..., that is, NO ONE CAN SAY THAT THEY WERE NOT WARNED.

God does not force anyone to choose it, because the choice must be ours and must be made in a natural and true way, from the depths of our heart and the choices that God proposes are: THE BLESSING OR THE CURSE, LIFE OR DEATH.

Why continue to live a life without God if you can live the life of God, why despise the Word of God if you can obey it, why be cursed if you can be blessed, why die if you can live forever beside God.

MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE... NOW.
