One day I read a phrase on Facebook that caught my attention and made me very happy: “REMEMBER: THE IMPOSSIBLE IS ONE OF GOD'S SPECIALTIES”.

The statements and testimonies in the Bible assure us of the immeasurable authority and power of our God.

The statement that our God is the God of the impossible appears in several biblical passages, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament:

Jeremiah 32:17 ... Nothing is too hard for you.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

The impossible to be accomplished by man, when it happens, we call it a miracle and ONLY GOD CAN PERFORME MIRACLES.

Jesus performed many miracles while he was in this world and continues to do so today:

John 21:25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Among the many miracles of Jesus reported in the Gospels, today I would like to highlight one of them:

Luke 8:43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.

You can imagine a woman suffering for 12 years from an illness that was physically and mentally debilitating.

Physically, because she should be weak in her health, as bleeding has bad consequences for the whole body.

Mentally, because she had already spent all her money looking for a cure, but no doctor could cure her.

At that time, a woman who was at the time of her period or bleeding was considered filthy and had to get away from everyone.

Leviticus 15:25 When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days at a time other than her monthly period or has a discharge that continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as she has the discharge, just as in the days of her period.

But that woman's physical condition or the rules of that time could not prevent her from having the courage, strength and faith to overcome the crowd that pressed Jesus and I believe that crawling on the floor, in the middle of the crowd, she touched the edge of Jesus' garment.

PAY ATTENTION: Edge means fringe, that is, it touched the fringe of Jesus' garment, even though it was soiled by the dragging on the floor.

Result: IMMEDIATELY SHE WAS HEALED.

Today, unfortunately, many people succumb very easily to their problems and become depressed, defeated, discouraged, and they do not want to fight, nor do they seek help and a way out of their problems in the God of the impossible.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Look at Jesus, have strength, look for the one who can truly help you, TOUCH HIS GARMENTS, with your perseverance, with your prayers and with your faith and his response to you will be the same as He gave to that woman: YOUR FAITH HAS HEALED YOU. GO IN PEACE.
