At Cana in Galilee, at a wedding party, Jesus performed his first miracle.
John 2:1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
I don't think it was by chance that Jesus' first miracle was at a wedding party, for Jesus in several biblical passages introduced himself as the BRIDEGROOM and his church as the BRIDE (Song of Songs, Isaiah 62:5, Matthew 22:2-9, Revelation 19:7-9, Revelation 21:2, Revelation 22:17).
In the Bible, wine symbolizes joy and at that party the wine had run out (At that time, wine at parties was mixed with several portions of water, turning it into almost grape juice).
Perhaps you are living, symbolically, "like a party without wine", and you are sad and have lost motivation and faith.
Sometimes things get so complicated that you no longer see any natural way out of problems.
We want to believe that you are part of some Christian church, and that you have already accepted Jesus as your lord and savior.
And if that is your case, then be encouraged, for Jesus is the one who calls his church a bride, and He is the bridegroom and He longs to be by your side, taking care of you, protecting you, and sharing with you the best of him.
But if that is not your case, then take this moment and declare in your own words that JESUS IS YOUR LORD AND YOUR SAVIOR.
Promise Him faithfulness and keep your promise, then you will be part of God's people, who are called the bride of Jesus.
Jesus will never let sadness take over you, rather he will transform what is necessary for your joy to return and return quickly.
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
Just trust and invite Jesus to be part of your life, your home, because if He hadn't been invited to that wedding party, no miracle would have happened .
Let Jesus work in your life, seek the Lord and He will turn the "water into wine", give the necessary supply and joy will return and true peace will come to you and remain in your life much more intense than it was before.
John 2:7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. 8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
The Lord bless you and keep you.
