Jesus Must Become Greater (John 3:30)

Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

God wants us to live a full life with Him, but for that to happen it is necessary Jesus must become greater in us and we must become less.

John 3:30 He must become greater; I must become less.

When we decide to change our lives, leave our wills aside to do the will of God and consequently produce good fruits, we can rest, because everything else He will do.

Matthew 6:31 So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Our God stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people.

Psalm 113:5 Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, 6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; 8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people. 9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord.

If we don't position ourselves correctly, the Bible says:

Matthew 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Matthew 7:26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

We have to watch, because we don't know the day and hour of Jesus' return. Let's be prudent.

In the house of Zacchaeus Jesus said: Luke 19:9 Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

Zacchaeus was not saved by his origin or descent, but he was saved by his actions.

WHOEVER HAS EARS, LET THEM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE CHURCHES.

God bless you.
