Hosea 14:9 Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

Countless times in the Bible God expressed the need for his people to know him, to know his power and authority, to know his deeds, to know what pleases him.

The reason for the suffering of many people today is very clear: Simply, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE GOD.

Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

People are being deceived by the devil's lies and are not realizing it and are letting go of the need to know God better and hold on to Him.

Hosea 5:4 Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

We must naturally discern WHAT IS TRUE AND WHAT IS A LIE.

But how to discern what is a lie if you don't know what is truth?

WHAT IS NOT TRUE IS A LIE.

John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

The truth is the WORD OF GOD:

John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

The truth is JESUS:

John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The truth is GOD:

Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

The truth is the HOLY SPIRIT:

John 15:26 When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father — the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father — he will testify about me.

Truth Heals, Frees, Saves.

Then know the truth, read the Bible, meditate on it and abandon the lies, and you will live by the favors of God, living in justice and peace, as God desires.

Jeremiah 9:23 This is what the Lord says: Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight, declares the Lord.
