The apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the church in Ephesus: Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
We notice that in this Bible verse, Paul was motivating the church to:
1 - Protect themselves with the armor revealed by God (put on the full armor of God).
2 - Resist the snares, traps and tricks of the devil (when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground).
3 - Do everything we have to do, regardless of the difficulties (and after you have done everything).
4 - Remain unshakable, victorious, simply because we did everything as God directed (to stand).
We also know that fighting is not easy, because the name itself says “FIGHTING”.
It's no use thinking that God will not allow struggles, because we are in this world learning, knowing God and proving our faith and our faithfulness to God through our behaviors and it is essential that during your struggles you prove your faith through Your deeds.
James 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18 But someone will say, You have faith; I have deeds. Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
Once, God told the people of Israel to prepare for battle and He said: LET THE WEAK SAY, I AM STRONG.
Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, I am strong!
In other words, God's will is that through faith and perseverance, we become strong, because in Jesus we are more than conquerors.
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Being strong is essential to face the struggles, because discouragement, spiritual weakness and distance from God consume faith and take away the will to fight, generating oppressed people, without life prospects, depressive, without faith and WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Nehemiah said that: THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH:
Nehemiah 8:10 ...for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
So, TO BE STRONG WE NEED TO REJOICE GOD.
How can we please God?
Being obedient, honoring him, loving him, then God's joy with your life will be overflowing and your struggles will be won more easily, because you will face your enemy (Satan) with great strength, for THE LORD WILL BE YOUR STRENGTH and GOD IS INVINCIBLE !
Isaiah 43:13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?
The Lord bless you and keep you.
