The Impossible (Matthew 19:26)

In the Bible we find numerous situations in which God did the impossible to deliver or bless his people.

Some examples are:

• Parting of the Red Sea. Exodus 14.
• Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the blazing furnace. Daniel 3.
• Daniel in the lions' den. Daniel 6.
• Peter in prison. Acts 12.

When God does the impossible we call this action a MIRACLE.

Man has difficulties in believing in miracles, because human naturalness makes man think rationally, leaving faith aside, to base himself on things or situations that he understands and that "follow the laws of nature".

Genesis 18:13 Then the LORD said to Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh and say, Will I really have a child, now that I am old?

Logical reasoning is an extremely comfortable condition for the Christian, as nothing is easier than believing and practicing things that will bring a certain result.

Example: If you plant corn seeds, you will harvest corn and not rice.

Logical reasoning leads to the thought that certain situations in life are impossible to happen and that is why many do not believe in miracles or believe that miracles, eventually, can happen to others and not to themselves.

In the course of our lives, countless times, WE WILL NEED MIRACLES AND GOD KNOWS THAT VERY WELL, so much so that Jesus said:

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

And for miracles to happen, you will need to:

• HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD: John 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

• HAVE A PRAYER LIFE: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray continually.

• OBEY GOD: Deuteronomy 28:1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God.

• MAKE PERSONAL RENOUNCEMENTS: Matthew 10:37 Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

• LEAD A LIFE OF DELIVERY TO GOD: Deuteronomy 30:20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life...

• SANCTIFY YOURSELF: Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

MANY WANT POSITIVE ANSWERS FROM GOD TO THEIR PRAYERS, BUT REFUSE TO GIVE POSITIVE ANSWERS TO GOD'S COMMANDS (WHICH IS HIS WORD).

We know that the impossible does not exist for God, so never give room for anxiety, for excessive worries, for despair, because our God is faithful to fulfill His Word in His life.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 6:31 So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

If you remain faithful, with faith and pray, God will always answer your prayers, with the right answer, ALWAYS...

Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
