A new year is about to begin and normally at this time of year hopes are renewed that in the year that begins plans and projects come true.
We must take advantage of the symbolic beginning of a new era to place before God what we have in our heart, such as:
Plans, projects, goals or any other adjective that represents what is important to you and that you want accomplished in the new year.
Once God appeared to Solomon and said to him: Ask for whatever you want me to give you.
2 Chronicles 1:7 That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, Ask for whatever you want me to give you.
Solomon answered God:
2 Chronicles 1:10 Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?
God was very pleased with Solomon's answer, for he could have asked for wealth, power, honor, but instead he asked for WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.
God's answer to Solomon's request was tremendous:
2 Chronicles 1:11 God said to Solomon, Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.
Solomon became an extremely wise and rich man, far more than any other king on earth.
2 Chronicles 9:22 King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth.
Enjoy this moment, make a purpose with God, ask for things that will make God's heart happy and not just things that will make your heart happy.
ASK: Anointing, wisdom, knowledge, communion with God, spiritual gifts, peace, conversion of your relatives and friends.
COMMIT YOURSELF: To pray more, to read the Bible more, to be more vigilant, to have more commitments to God, to dedicate yourself and make more effort in your ministry, to consecrate yourself more and to abandon the vices and sins that still persist in your life.
If you fulfill your part in your commitments, God will fulfill his part and surely everyone will see and say:
Everything he planned to do, he successfully accomplished, just as God did with Solomon:
2 Chronicles 7:11 When Solomon had finished the temple of the LORD and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the LORD and in his own palace.
Happy New Year!
May in the new year you have many experiences with God.
THE LORD USES YOU GREATLY!
The Lord bless you end keep you.
