The coming of Jesus as a man shook heaven and earth and God promised that yet again heaven and earth will be shaken.
Hebrews 12:26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.
Jesus came to fulfill the Word of God, to establish God's forgiveness, to set captives free, to overcome death and to destroy all the works of the devil.
Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.
1 Corinthians 15:54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: Death has been swallowed up in victory.
1 John 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
Jesus came to change human history, transforming curse into blessing, oppression into peace, death into life.
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
Jesus came to restore fellowship between man and God and for this He established a new covenant with man.
1 Corinthians 11:25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.
And this is the NEW ALLIANCE:
OUR PART OF THE ALLIANCE:
We repent of our sins, commit our lives to Jesus, trust in Him, and are faithful to Him.
GOD'S PART OF THE ALLIANCE:
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, God forgives our sins, removes the curses from our lives, heals our souls, saves us and gives us eternal life.
Jesus will soon return and bring with Him the reward for those who believed in Him and were faithful to Him and heaven and earth will be shaken once more.
Revelation 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
Remain faithful therefore, enduring your afflictions, for the work of your hands will be rewarded.
Psalm 34:19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
Jeremiah 31:16 This is what the LORD says: Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded, declares the LORD. They will return from the land of the enemy.
The Lord bless you and keep you.
