The Eyes of God (Proverbs 15:3)

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

Job 34:21 His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step.

Proverbs 5:21 For a man's ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths.

Jeremiah 16:17 My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes.

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him...

The verses above make clear at least two attributes of God: OMNIPRESENCE and OMNISCIENCE.

We know that sin is first conceived in the mind and soon after, in being practiced, generates death as a consequence.

James 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

One of the ways to fight sin, when it is conceived in the mind, is TO REMEMBER GOD AND HIS WORD.

Many hide their sinful attitudes from the people around them, such as fathers, mothers, wives, spouses, children, among others.

If there are hidden attitudes or one try to hide, it is because they are not good or because they are reprehensible or because such attitudes can sadden someone.

People care so much about the thoughts and feelings of others around them but don't care about God's thoughts and feelings.

People care so much about a possible disapproval of the people around them, but they don't care about a possible disapproval of God.

People hide their sins from each other so much and ignore that from God our attitudes never go unnoticed, for HE SEES EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE.

God will never stop a person from sinning, because NOT SINNING will always be a man's decision

Obeying God or not obeying God, pleasing God or not pleasing God, being blessed or cursed, loving God or not loving God, dying spiritually or living spiritually, will always be daily decisions.

God will never compel anyone to want him or love him or serve him or give his way to Him.

But just as a mistake can destroy a family, a job, a life, so will a sin toward God, for sin departs us from the glory of God and leaves us out of the great promises of God's blessings and we become the target of the promises of curses and death.

SIN ALWAYS GENERATES A CURSE and this curse will always have bad consequences, regardless of your repentance and your consequent salvation.

Therefore, DO NOT SIN, for THE EYES OF GOD ARE EVERYWHERE.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
