The Marks of Christ (Galatians 6:17)

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

It is impossible to imagine a person who has had a real encounter with Jesus and has not changed his thoughts and attitudes, because as we read in the verse above, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

The apostle Paul also said in the letter to the church in Galatia: Galatians 6:15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation.

We cannot imagine "Christians" who have behaviors that do not demonstrate the character of Christ in their lives, as this highlights the need for conversion or change.

We know that after a person's encounter with Christ, a process of improvement in his character begins and every day the convert must demonstrate changes in his attitudes and words, because everyone who fears God is concerned with having attitudes that glorify God and eliminate attitudes that sadden or shame the name of God.

Thus the Christian becomes a people who are called HOLY (separated) by God.

Leviticus 20:7 Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God.

Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

What does it mean to be a Christian?

In these days, incredibly, we see CHRISTIANS WHO DO NOT FOLLOW CHRIST, which is completely inconsistent.

How can a person claim to be a Christian and not believe and obey Christ's commandments and guidelines?

These days, we find SUPPOSED CHRISTIANS who steal, adulterate, deceive, lie, curse, swear, curse, scream, drink alcoholic beverages, have a destroyed home.

These people have so much communion with the things of the world that when you see them outside the church, nobody would say they are Christians.

HOW CAN WE CONSIDER THAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE THE MARK OF CHRIST IN THEIR LIVES?

In fact, we can say that these people have the marks of the world in their lives and not the marks of Christ and they need to convert to become true Christians.

Your testimony must be the testimony of a true Christian, so that the people around you want to know THE GOD YOU SERVE AND SEE IN YOU.

Be a person blessed and used by God, whose words are edifying and bring blessings and salvation.

BE A PERSON ADMIRED AND NOT QUESTIONED.

John 14:15 If you love me, you will obey what I command.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
