Where Will Help Always Come From? (Psalm 121)

It should be understood by all people that we COMPLETELY depend on God for our lives, for He is the author, finisher and redeemer of our lives.

Jesus confirmed this when he said: John 15:5 ... apart from me you can do nothing.

David also wrote Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Unfortunately, today, many have put their trust in the people around them, in their strength, in their capabilities, in their intellects, in their money, leaving God aside, forgetting that God controls everything and everyone and it is He who has full authority over everything, including life.

Therefore, these people are insecure, afraid of losing everything they have conquered, they have no peace and often lose their scruples and begin to act in a demonic way, to conquer more and more, corrupting, stealing, deceiving, lying.

When Jesus said: apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5), in fact He was clearly showing that we depend on Him for everything, WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Your faith must not be in men, or in the strength of men, or in objects, simply because they are flawed and will always depend on God to act.

Your faith must be in the Lord Jesus, for Romans 8:37 ... in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, then you will have the security and certainty of achieving the promises that God has for your life.

IS YOUR FAITH IN WHO OR WHAT?

Is your faith in the judge, the relative, the boss, the pyramid, the salt, the washcloth, the lottery, the pastor...?

Put your faith in who can really help you, always, which is the Lord Jesus.

Obviously Jesus uses men to bless, but his faith can never be in men or objects, even if they are used by God.

Renew your strength and hope by reading this wonderful Psalm:

Psalm 121:
1 A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
