The Most Holy Place (Exodus 26)

In the desert, shortly after the liberation of the people of Israel from Egypt, God gave Moses instructions to build a Tabernacle for God:

Exodus 26:
30 Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain.
31 Make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim woven into it by a skilled worker.
32 Hang it with gold hooks on four posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold and standing on four silver bases.
33 Hang the curtain from the clasps and place the ark of the covenant law behind the curtain. The curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.

Tabernacle

God in the instructions that He gave to Moses detailed everything: The measures, the divisions, the materials, the utensils and the purposes of some materials and utensils.

The great objective of building the Tabernacle of God was that man, through certain attitudes, would become worthy of the presence of God.

So, when the man brought an animal (usually a lamb) to the priest to sacrifice on the altar of the Tabernacle, he was actually:

1. Asking God for forgiveness for his sins.
2. Practicing worship and praise to God.
3. Demonstrating your weakness and dependence on God.
4. Demonstrating your submission and obedience to God.

The divisions of the Tabernacle had tremendously important symbolism for all of God's people, including us today:

ENTRANCE GATE:
God keeps an open door, so that anyone who wishes to enter and receive the forgiveness of their sins, through the repentance and give your life to Jesus.

ATTRIUM OR PATIO:
Place where the reconciliation of man with God takes place, after public declaration of the desire to receive the sacrifice of the Lamb of God over his life and to repent of his sins.

HOLY PLACE:
Place of worship and praise, where you present yourself before God to declare how important He is to you and where you present your desire to please and obey Him.

VEIL:
It means the separation between man and God because of sin, so much so that only the high priest could enter once a year beyond the veil (into the Most Holy Place) and only after he practiced purification rituals specified by God, otherwise he would die.

Jesus tore the veil that made the separation between man and God, because through Jesus we have the purification of our sins and all those who accepted him as their Lord and Savior and repent of their sins, have the right to enter the Most Holy Place (Holy of Holies).

Mark 15:37 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. 38 The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

MOST HOLY PLACE (HOLY OF HOLIES):
Place of communion between man and God, where we feel and hear the voice of God.

In this place, only those who have consecrated their lives to Jesus and maintain a life of sanctification can be, because THE PLACE REMAINS MOST HOLY.

The big difference from Moses' time to our time is JESUS, who torned the veil and allowed us to enter the Most Holy Place every day.

Now, not only the high priest once a year, but we can enter into the presence of God every day, at all times.

But as I said, THE PLACE REMAINS MOST HOLY and you will not meet God and hear his voice if your attitudes are still sinful.

There is no point in trying to enter the Most Holy Place without first entering the Holy Place, which is THE PLACE OF WORSHIP AND PRAISE.

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

Therefore, IF YOU WANT TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD, stop sinning, truly surrender your life to Jesus, sanctify yourself, worship, praise God and then, you will feel the presence of God in your life stronger than the sunlight.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
