There was a Biblical character called Balaam, mentioned in several books of the Bible, but in more detail in the book of Numbers, chapters 22, 23 and 24.
This man was a pagan prophet, who was once “hired” by Balak, king of Moab, to curse the people of Israel who were about to pass through the lands of the Moabites.
Balaam tried to curse the people of Israel three times, but none of those times did God allow him, rather Balaam was impelled by God to launch words of exaltation and blessings on the people of Israel.
Numbers 24:10 Then Balak’s anger burned against Balaam. He struck his hands together and said to him, “I summoned you to curse my enemies, but you have blessed them these three times.
In the second, of Balaam's three attempts to curse the people of Israel, Balaam spoke wonderful and true words about the people of God and therefore these words were also directed at me and you.
See some of these words:
1 • God does not lie and his words will always be confirmed.
Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
2 • When God orders the blessing, no one can revoke that order. Acting God, who can reverse it?
Numbers 23:20 I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.
3 • God's blessings on our lives are linked to our faithfulness to Him.
Numbers 23:21 No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them.
4 • God is our liberator and in him our strength is unshakable and unbeatable.
Numbers 23:22 God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox.
5 • No enemy force or enchantment has authority over our lives, because Jesus is the authority over our lives, therefore we will not fear, because the enemy's arrows and curses will not reach us.
Numbers 23:23 There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel, See what God has done!
6 • God transformed us into a victorious people, who do not prostrate themselves before the enemy, but rather fight to win, until they completely destroy them on the final day.
Numbers 23:24 The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.
Take possession of this Word and be more than a winner, in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
The Lord bless you and keep you.
