Jesus Lives in Me! (Galatians 2:20)

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

One of the greatest privileges of man is to be able to say CHRIST LIVES IN ME.

The apostle Paul said these words and his feeling, at that moment, I think, was one of spiritual ecstasy, because these words, when they come from the depths of the soul, are extremely striking to any man.

Paul also said: I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST, Paul demonstrated his spiritual stage, declaring that sin and the curses of this world no longer had an effect on his life and that his decision was to live the life that Christ determined.

When Paul said: I NO LONGER LIVE, Paul was meaning that his values and his thoughts were the values and thoughts of Christ.

Paul lived according to the life of Christ, that is, preaching the same word and practicing the same attitudes.

When Paul said: CHRIST LIVES IN ME, it means that Jesus was the one who led his life, dwelling in him, through his Holy Spirit and acting through his life.

Paul made it clear through these words that what was important to him was doing God's will.

These experiences should serve as a model for every Christian, because if our thoughts and attitudes, in the different situations of our lives, are not the same as those of Christ, how can we say:

• That we are guided by Jesus.
• That we are servants of Jesus.
• That we are Christians.

For a Christian is one who follows Christ and not one who simply believes in Christ.

If you were baptized in water at your baptism, you were actually saying publicly that from that moment on, you follow Christ, and that you accept his sacrifice and that sin no longer has dominion or authority over your life.

AND IF YOU FOLLOW CHRIST, YOU THINK LIKE HIM AND ACT LIKE HIM.

• If the Holy Spirit lives in you;
• If Jesus is your Lord and Savior;
• If you don't keep sinning;
• If you take pleasure in holy things;
• If you abhor sin;
• If you care for the fulfillment of the Word of God in your life;
• If you ensure the fulfillment of the Word of God in your home;
• If you speak publicly about the love of God, which is Jesus;

So you can say: Christ lives in me.

So say with joy: CHRIST LIVES IN ME!

IF IT IS NOT YET LIKE THIS IN YOUR LIFE, CHANGE WHILE THERE IS TIME.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
