There is nothing in this world more powerful than the Word of God.

Once, some soldiers were sent by the priests to arrest Jesus.

John 7:32 The Pharisees heard the crowd whispering such things about him. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him.

After the soldiers heard Jesus speaking to a crowd, they were amazed at the power, authority and wonderful revelation of the word given by Jesus.

Then the soldiers returned to the Sanhedrin, without arresting Jesus, and when they were asked by the priests and Pharisees, why they did not bring Jesus, they replied: No one ever spoke the way this man does.

John 7:45 Finally the temple guards went back to the chief priests and the Pharisees, who asked them, Why didn’t you bring him in? 46 No one ever spoke the way this man does, the guards replied.

The feeling that those soldiers had when they heard Jesus speak, should be the same feeling that someone has when reading the Bible, that is, THEY SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE DEEP, EFFECTIVE AND WONDERFUL MESSAGE OF THE WORD OF GOD.

You will never find in another book, a word as complete as the Word of God, as it has the power to reveal the depth of God's heart and is effective in giving discernment of what is right and what is wrong.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

THE WORD OF GOD IS LAW, therefore, everything is subject to it, and Christians should be examples of this subjection, because WHOEVER DISOBEYS A LAW IS CONDEMNED BY THE LAW ITSELF.

Never forget that it is through obedience to the Word of God that we will achieve salvation, as the apostle Peter said:

John 6:68 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

WORDS THAT LEAD ETERNAL LIFE. This is the main objective of the Word of God, as it TEACHES US, WARNS US AND EXORTES US TO BE FAITHFUL TO GOD.

READ AND MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF GOD EVERY DAY, then you will rejoice and be edified by it, because THE WORDS OF JESUS ​​ARE THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE.
