Shall Not the Judge of All the Earth Do What Is Just? (Genesis 18:25)

Being judged by God is one of the greatest privileges that man has, because our judge is Holy and perfect in his judgments.

Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

We know that God, unlike man, will always judge our causes and our lives faithfully and will never discriminate people or accept bribes.

Deuteronomy 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.

We also know that GOD WILL ALWAYS DO JUSTICE, regardless of personal interests and regardless of the influence of feelings or circumstances.

Genesis 18:25 Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?

THE BIBLE IS GOD'S “BOOK OF THE LAW”, the words that Jesus said “BECAME LAW” and there are the parameters by which we are and will be judged and God will never accept his law being disobeyed.

WHOEVER DISOBEYS THE “LAW” WILL BE CONDEMNED BY THE “LAW” ITSELF.

God does not accept excuses for sin, because SIN WILL ALWAYS BE A MAN'S DECISION, contrary to what many think, sin is not a decision of the devil.

When you sin, you are actually listening to the voice of the devil and failing to listen to the voice of God.

When you sin, you are doing the devil's will to the detriment of God's will, BY AN EXCLUSIVELY YOUR DECISION, that is, your desires are being stronger than God's desires.

God taught us that the temptations that come upon us will never be great enough to overwhelm us.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We have to obey and comply with the Word of God, as it is the guidance and help we need to overcome sin.

1 John 5:
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith.

Pay close attention to the guidelines that God gave us:

Matthew 26:41  Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Luke 22:46 and he said to them, Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Revelation 3:10  Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

If you have systematically sinned, then you have not followed the guidelines and obeyed the Word of God, therefore, you will suffer the consequences of your rebellion, which are the curses described in the Word of God itself and on the final day YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SALVATION.

As we have already said, God does not accept excuses for sin, just as He did not accept the excuses of Adam and Eve when they sinned, but rather cursed them and condemned them to live far from the presence of God.

SEE GOD'S CONDEMNING SENTENCE:

Genesis 3
16 To the woman he said, I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.
17 And to Adam he said, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, You shall not eat of it, cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.
23 therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.
24 He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.

AS THE DECISION WILL ALWAYS BE YOURS, THEN, ALWAYS CHOOSE TO BE FAITHFUL TO GOD.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
