MESSAGES

We Are Not Orphans (John 14:18)

We all need to be empowered by God and we need to deepen our knowledge of the Word of God, so as not to make mistakes and to be built and used by God.

Jesus came into the world preaching a powerful and transformative message.

While Jesus was in this world as a man, He performed countless miracles:

• He turned water into wine.
• He multiplied bread and fish.
• He healed the blind.
• He healed lepers.
• He healed the paralytic.
• He healed the deaf.
• He raised the dead.
• He Cast out demons.
• He Forgave sins.
• He Broke curses.
• He tore the veil of the temple and reconnected man to God.
PROMISED that he would give us the Holy Spirit.
PROMISED that he would be with us every day until the end of the age.

Matthew 28:20 ...And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

John 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

These promises are directly linked to the promise that God made through the prophet Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

The name IMMANUEL originates from the Hebrew word ÌImmanuw'el and literally means GOD WITH US.

The promise made by God in Isaiah 7:14 was given about 700 years before Jesus was born and tells with tremendous precision what Jesus would say and do about 740 years later.

Jesus promised that he would send the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, the Helper, after his return to the Father.

And Jesus determined what the wonderful works of the Holy Spirit would be:

• HE WILL BE WITH US FOREVER - John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.

• HE WILL DWELL WITH US - John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

• HE WILL TEACH US AND MAKE US REMEMBER THE WORD OF GOD - John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

• HE WILL CONVICT THE WORLD CONCERNING SIN - John 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me.

• HE WILL CONVICT THE WORLD CONCERNING OF GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS - John 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 10 of righteousness, for I go to the Father, and they will see me no more.

• HE WILL CONVICT THE WORLD CONCERNING OF GOD'S JUDGMENT - John 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 11 of judgment, for the prince of this world has already been judged.

• HE WILL EMPOWER US - 1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

Therefore, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, JESUS WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU, if you love and obey him.

This wonderful promise of God is part of your life, because this is God's deep desire and only you CAN PREVENT this desire from being fulfilled in you.

John 14:
23 Jesus answered him, If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own.

So, seek and feel THE GOD WITH US within you!

The Lor bless you and keep you.
