There is a song that I really like to hear, called: O melhor lugar do mundo.

In one of the verses of this song it says: "The best place in the world is at the feet of the Savior. It is there where I meet the source of love".

Once Jesus was ministering in the house of Martha and Mary, and Mary sat at Jesus' feet, attentive to what He was saying.

Luke 10:39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.

And Jesus said to Martha, Mary's sister, and to all the people who were there, that Mary had made the best choice and that that decision would be honored by Him.

Luke 1042 but few things are needed — or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

Jesus taught that we must seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and other things will be added to us.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

There are no more precious moments for Christians than entering the presence of God, seeking Him in prayer, to meet the source of love, which is Jesus.

But Christians, in general, do not pray and do not like to pray, and are clearly neglecting THE BEST CHOICE, as Jesus spoke to Martha.

Like Martha, people are more concerned with their daily lives, with their fun, or with the pleasures of the world, than with THE BEST CHOICE, which is to pray, worship and seek in an extreme way Jesus, the kingdom of heaven and his righteousness.

Luke 10:40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!

These people do not set aside minutes or hours of their day to seek the Lord of our lives, the source of love, the reason for our existence, preferring to be in different places rather than in the BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD, which is at the feet of Jesus.

These people find time for everything, but THERE IS NO TIME FOR GOD.

In another verse of the praise she says: "The best place in the world is at the feet of the Savior. It is there where there is hope, it brings relief to the suffering".

It is at the feet of Jesus that we find relief for our souls, help for our sufferings and receive the words of hope and exhortation that we need, coming straight from the throne of God.

WE NEED TO PRAY AND FEEL THE PRESENCE OF GOD, LIKE WE NEED WATER TO LIVE.

But man has often met this need with trivial and useless things and as a consequence of this they are banal and spiritually superficial people, and they are far from God and cannot feel or hear Him, as, obviously, they will not find God in banal and useless things.

If you have acted this way, you have left out the best part and you are certainly a spiritually cold person, who cannot pray more than five minutes a day and who cannot hear God's voice during your prayers, and in the few moments of Biblical reading you cannot discern God's revelations.

If you have acted this way, you will not be honored by God, God's spiritual gifts will not manifest themselves in your life, and you are certainly being or will be used by the devil at some point, as your house is founded on sand and not on the rocks.

Matthew 7:26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

If you have been acting this way, CHANGE IMMEDIATELY! Because you are despising God and the opportunity for salvation that Jesus gave you.

NEVER LEAVE ASIDE WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO GOD. PRIORITIZE GOD, ALWAYS!
